Beatrice Ann (Lepley) Schoenfeldt, 90, of North East, PA passed away peacefully at home, January 6, 2026.

She was born in North East, daughter of the late Michael and Ruth (Nightingale) Lepley.  Beatrice married her sweetheart and love of her life, Charles Robert Schoenfeldt on March 30, 1953, and were married for 68 happy years.

She was a long-time member of Lakeview Church of God.  Bea had a Servant’s heart and loved to teach adult Sunday school.  She loved and treasured her family.  She enjoyed friends, gardening, canning, cooking, baking, watching wildlife, putting puzzles together, and Friday night card games.  Beatrice was a long-time employee of Wayne’s Hardware and Jubilee grocery store.  She loved everyone she met and never said an unkind word!

Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband (Charles), her daughter Debra Craig, her parents, and twin siblings David Lepley and Dorothy (Lepley) Hofmann.

Beatrice is survived by her son, Timothy Schoenfeldt (Maricarol), and daughter Terry Adams (Matthew), son in law Charles Craig (Debra); her grandchildren Heidi and Kyle Craig, Cody Adams (Sierra), Zachary Adams, and Frances Krull (Matthew).  Her legacy continues with great-grandchildren Maiah Craig and Lilly Adams, plus many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to her caregivers, Katrina, Mary, Dawn, Scott and especially her niece, Cindy (Schoenfeldt) Kramer who was with her through this journey and referred to by Bea as her “adopted daughter”

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA, from 1 P.M. until the time of funeral services there at 4 P.M.  Having died on the Epiphany it is only fitting that Three Wise Men (Pastor Grove, Pastor Hannah, and Pastor Hutchinson) will officiate.
