Bernice Estelle Boyd

Bernice Estelle Boyd, 95, of North East, went to be home with Jesus on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at her residence.

She was born on February 19, 1925, in Ripley, NY, a daughter of the late Leslie John and Bernice Olive Loucks Neely.  Bernice was a born again Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church, Ripley, NY.  Prior to her retirement, she was a machine operator at the North East Breeze.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Herbert Boyd in 2004.  Bernice is survived by her son, Charles David Boyd and his wife April of North East and three daughters; Elaine R. Botelho of North East, Cathy F. Freligh of Tulsa, OK and Norma Jean Riefstahl of North East.  Also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home with a private graveside service for the family in North East Cemetery.
