CHRIS A. HIRTZEL

Chris A. Hirtzel, 68, of North East, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at her residence.

She was born on March 9, 1952 in Erie, PA a daughter of the late Bruce E. Root and Margaret Gordon Yaple.

Chris had previously worked at Erie Infants Home, Better Baked Foods in North East and JTM Foods in Erie.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed Embroidering Baby Blankets and doing puzzle books.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles M. Hirtzel, two sons, Chas C. Hirtzel of North East and David P. Hirtzel and his wife Renee of North East, two daughters, Pamela A. Hirtzel and Julie L. Laemmerhirt, both of North East, one brother, Steve Root of Grant, FL, and two sisters, Lisa Straub and her husband Chuck of Cranesville, and Lori Herrmann and her husband Roger of Fairview.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S.
