John P. Trusty

John P. Trusty, 64, of Erie, PA, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023, at this residence.

He was born on May 18, 1959, in Pontiac, MI, a son of John and Hilda Trusty.

            John served one term with the United States Navy.  He loved fishing, karaoke, playing pool, and exploring with his metal detector.

            In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Betty Trusty, two sons, Matthew Trusty (Tara), and Kevin Trusty (Celia), his sister, Lina Freudenberg (David), and his brother, Paul Patrick Trusty (Nancy).  Also survived by his grandkids, Nevaeh, Elliott, Eian, Elijah, Damian, Kayla, Julian, Aubrey, and Lauralie.

            Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 2 P.M. until the time of a group prayer service there at 5 P.M.
