Kathleen (Kath) A. List, 78, of Girard, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024. She was born in Titusville, Pennsylvania on July 5, 1946 to the late Leroy J. List, Sr. and Mona A. (Snedden) List.

Kath graduated from Wattsburg High School in 1965. She worked most of her life as a CPD Technician at Hamot, Saint Vincent and Village Surgery Center. She retired from Village Surgery Center in 2013.

Kath was the oldest of Leroy and Mona’s eight children. She is survived by six of her siblings, Mary Jane Thieme (Rob), Leroy J. (Buzz) List, Jr. (Kathy), John Carson List (Betty), Judy Anne Chatt (Lenny), Paul R. List (Jessie) and Robin F. Byers. She is furthered survived by her friend, Patty Santner, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Mahoney and brother in laws, Ralph Luke and Carl Byers.

Kath showed her unconditional love by being a stem cell donor to her sister, Mary Jane. All eight siblings were identical matches and listed in medical journals today.

Private services for her family will be provided by the W. Tad Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA. Pastor, Jody Irwin will officiate.
