Linda H. (Gierke) Schroder

Linda H. Schroder, 83, of North East, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024.

Linda was born on February 27, 1940, in Erie, PA, a daughter of the late Richard H. and Betty H. Kebler Gierke.

Prior to her retirement, Linda was a bank teller with PNC Bank.  She attended the Orchard Beach Assembly Church in North East.  Linda enjoyed working on her garden, sewing and craft projects.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Donald C. Schroder in 1980, her sister Sue, and her husband Phil Halloran.  She is survived by her daughter Lori McDonald and her husband David of North East, 2 nieces and 2 nephews, and a close friend, Herb Dillen.

Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA on Friday, January 12, from 1 P.M. until the time of funeral services there at 3 P.M.  Pastor Troy Keith will officiate.  Private interment in North East Cemetery will be at the convenience of her family.
