Marvin Fredrick Neff, 85, of North East passed away Mondy April 29th, 2024, at Brevillier Village, Ball Pavilion.

He was member of St Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in North East, Marvin graduated from North East High School, he had served as President of North East Chapter Future Farmers of America and grew up farming and had his own grape farm. He was a member of the Operating Engineer Union and Lifetime member RMEF and NRA. He was an avid hunter and loved shooting and traveling. Marvin served in the National Guard as a tank driver. He also volunteered at the North East Food Pantry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Fredrick Neff and Florence Shultz, his wife, Patricia C. Neff, of 56 years, whom he married June 21, 1958, a grandson, Jacob L. Neff, two sisters-in-law Carol Seifert and Sue Neff and one brother-in-law Allen Card. Marvin is survived by his five children, Lane Neff and his wife Mary, Scott Neff, August Neff and his wife Tracy, Andrew Neff and his wife Paula and Holly Alcorn and her husband Marc, all North East. Two brothers, Victor Neff of North East, and Wilbur Neff of Florida and one sister, Lorraine Card of North East. Also survived by fourteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to attend visitation hours from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, May 3rd, 2024, at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA and to attend a memorial service there at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4th, 2024. Pastor William Ringer will officiate.
