Mary L. Rundell

Mary L. Rundell, 92, of North East, passed away, Thursday, August 3, 2023, at UPMC Hamot Medical Center. She was born on July 22, 1931, in Corry, PA, daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel Field, and the granddaughter of the late Ereve and Cora Sample.

Mary served as a waitress with O’Neil’s Restaurant, in North East, for over twelve years. She lived on a farm, in Little Hope, where she cared for forty-five head of Beef Cattle. Mary also attended church in Little Hope as well as Lakeview Free Methodist Church, in North East.

Mary is survived by her children; Ernest Rundell of Brookville, PA, William Rundell, of North East, and Cora McGill, of Erie; Grandchildren, Amanda and Andrew McGill, Amber Rundell, Ernest Rundell, Jr.; many cousins; and her Good Friend, Rae Lindsey, of North East.  Mary was preceded in death by her sisters, Phyllis Walden, Beatrice Field, her brother Robert Field, and her former husband, Elmer Rundell.

As per Mary’s request, services and interment in Grahamville Cemetery are to be private.  Funeral arrangements are under the care of the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S.
