Michael W. Allen, 69, of Wattsburg, PA, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023, at his residence.  He was born on June 10, 1954, in Erie, Pa, the son of the late Willard and Violet Firster Allen.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Allen.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Welch Foods in North East.  Michael enjoyed fishing and working on models.

Michael is survived by his companion, Bonnie K. Allen; one son, Matthew Allen of Wattsburg; his grandson, Alcide Allen; four brothers, Jeffery, Robert, Henry, and Steven  Allen; and five sisters, Rebecca Allen, Deborah Boria, Rhonda Millet, Elizabeth Scott and Laura Taylor and her husband Ronald.

Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. and on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 10 A.M. until the time of funeral services there at 11 A.M.  Rev. David Kuchta will officiate.  Interment will be in Lowville Cemetery.
