NATHAN IRA HOPKINS
Nathan Ira Hopkins, of Ripley, NY, passed away suddenly, December 23, 2020 at his residence.
He was born May 6, 1955 to Frances L. Hopkins of South Ripley, New York. Nathan was preceded in death by his mother, Frances; his grandparents Ira and Donna Hopkins and an aunt, Eloise Hopkins Riewaldt. Nathan is survived by his daughter, Amber Hopkins and two grandsons, Ryan and Jace Cole, all of Wattsburg, PA and by several cousins.
Nathan was a graduate of Sherman Central Schools in 1973. Nathan worked as a bus driver for Harborcreek School District before joining the New York State Department of Transportation where he retired as a supervisor. Nathan was known for his sense of humor and his love of beagles and had belonged to the Presque Isle Beagle Club.
A private family service will be held by the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the W.
