William Clark of Erie, PA, passed on to his eternal home on October 5, 2025.

He was born on June 2, 1942, in Savannah, Georgia. William was preceded in death by his parents, Pastor Thelma Clark and Deacon James Clark; his uncle, Willie Brouch; his brothers, James Clark Jr. and Eddie Clark; and his sister, Mable Williams.

William is survived by his wife and best friend of fifty years, Ruth Clark; his son, William (Cathy) Clark Jr. of Erie; his daughter, Rhonda Weltner of Butler, PA; and his grandson, Eric Clark, whom he helped raise. In addition to Eric, he is survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by Walter (Chris) Clark, Lula (James) Henderson, Arthur Clark, and Ernestine Whitmer, all of Erie, PA; and John (Nancy) Clark of Westfield, PA. William leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on October 11, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at the Word of Life Christian Center International, 660 Hess Ave., Erie, PA 16503. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home.
